Corzine Closes Condo at Hoboken’s Maxwell Place
Former NJ Governor & US Senator Jon Corzine has sold his Maxwell Place condominium in Hoboken. The 2 bedroom, 3 bath, 2,400 sq.ft. penthouse corner layout with unobstructed Manhattan & Hudson River views listed for $2,900,000 in late January before going under contract after 33 days on the market. The condo closed for $2,800,000 ($1,166 per sq.ft.) on May 7th. The anonymous purchaser paid cash.
Corzine paid $3,262,581 for the property in January 2008. He purchased two pre-construction units from Toll Brothers and combined them into one large custom penthouse in the Hoboken waterfront condo community featuring 24 hour concierge, resident’s lounge, outdoor pool, and fitness center.
