Auction Update for 1300 Park Avenue in Hoboken
I received an email this evening from Sheldon Good & Company, the New York based real estate auction company who conducted the auction of the 2 & 3 bedroom Hoboken condos at 1300 Park Avenue on August 5, 2009. When I reported on the auction results for 1300 Park Avenue, all of the units had been bid on and had winning bids the evening of the auction. It appears that a few condos have come back on the market.
According to the email I received, “The response after the auction has been overwhelming. People who missed purchasing at the auction are all asking the same question… Are there any left? The answer is yes; there are three (3) two and three bedroom condominiums available for sale.”
That’s pretty interesting. I wonder what happened?!? Since there were over 200 people bidding on the units that night, I’m sure these 3 units will sell. I’m not sure yet of the asking prices of these Hoboken condos or how Sheldon Good is going to go about selling them, however when I do find out, I’ll provide an update.

UPDATE 10/2/09: Sheldon Good & Company will be holding a preview for the 3 remaining units at 1300Park Avenue on Saturday, October 10, 2009 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the property. They will accept offers and are instructing buyers to bring a cashier’s/certified check in the amount of $15,000 made payable to “Gess, Gess, & Scanlon PC” in order to have your offer presented.
